I was born in Wyoming and raised in Northern Colorado with my two younger brothers. I started playing the drums when I was nine years old, and began performing professionally when I was fifteen. By the time I was eighteen I was teaching private drum lessons to people of all ages.
Since moving to Denver after high school, I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of musical situations, including orchestras, big bands, and small groups. One of the most enjoyable aspects of my career in music is having the opportunity to perform with several groups playing a number of different styles, including jazz, country, and rock.
I am currently performing regularly with several artists around Colorado, including songwriters Chris McGarry and Stacy Price, guitarists Thom Sandrock and Eric Dorn, pianist Luke Rackers, and the group FaceMan. When I'm not performing or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children.
